Vernal Fall, Yosemite National Park. California 2015

Yosemite National Park was our first destination in October 2015 and still holds a lot of sentimental value for us… We go back as often as we can. This photo was taken at the top of Vernal Fall. I recall my hesitation as Jessie insisted we climb the slippery stone steps that were tucked tightly along the side of the waterfall. For someone who’s not too keen on heights, it was a big deal but I knew we had to do it and I’m glad we did. Hiking the trails through the vast forests, breathing the fresh mountain air, and embracing the freedom of the wild is what draws Yosemite so close to our hearts. We highly recommend any travelers who are considering visiting California to include Yosemite National Park in your itinerary.
